Shivashakti - The Nondescript

Hindu mythology is having a lot of secrets in its lap.  Though it looks quite vogue when we just look at it without any vivid comprehension but if we try to comprehend it with a lucid approach of thinking then perhaps it would be easy to synthesise the hidden truth behind it.  Lets talk about the concept of Shiva and Shakti which is the base of hindu philosophy.  Shiva deals with the most subtle power of the cosmos whom we can call the base of the whole universe because without it there is no one who can witness, experience and feel.  On the other hand the another great power is Shakti which provide the platform to this big world drama.

  • We can understand it in this way:

For instance the hardware of a computer is useless without its software and software is of no use without having any hardware. We can anticipate it through the following amplifications i.e.The whole universe is created by the consciousness of the cosmic creator who is having two attributes of Sakshi and Shakti i.e. the awareness and strength which is the base of the whole cosmos.  It is formless and without body but still works in everyone's body.  It is the insurmountable, unchangeable, untouchable, and immortal.  In Hindu scripture these great powers of cosmos are personified as Shiva and Shakti and as per the scriptures Shiva means the pure consciousness where on the other side Shakti means the absolute strength of the cosmos.  Though they worship as two form in two different pictures and symbols but in actuality they are one formless who can be called as the nondescript.

Thus Shiva and Shakti are the two different part of one infinite Almighty who can never be comprehended without having a hidden curiosity of Self Realisation.
